Level 1 – ‘B’ Company

Within our large MDC competitive team we are fortunate to be able to offer 2 different levels of competitive dance. Level 1, or ‘B’ Company team is designed for the student who loves to dance and wishes to compete, but does not want to train more than 6 hours per week. This program requires less hours of training than our ‘A’ Company team, keeping the number of classes and time commitments down. ‘B’ Company team is lead by Miss Jennifer and has dancers ranging in age from 3 to 17 years old. This program offers the opportunity to excel in all areas of performance, while building confidence, self esteem, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Class Requirements

Cutie Pies – 4 year olds: 1 hour combination class and 1 competitive routine.
(Optional classes Ballet, Acro & Hip Hop)

Munchkins – 5-6 year olds: 1 hour 15 minutes combination class (Jazz&Tap) and 1 competitive routine.
(Optional classes Ballet, Acro & Hip Hop)

Petite Mini – Pre–Junior: 1 Jazz, 1 Ballet, 1 Tap and 2 competitive routines (Jazz&Tap)
(Optional classes Acro & Hip Hop)

Junior, Intermediate & Senior: 2 Jazz, 1 Ballet, 1 Tap and 2 competitive routines (Jazz&Tap)
Hip Hop, Musical Theatre & Acro are optional classes but may not dance more than 6 hours per week.

B Company dancers may also eligible for Acro, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Ballet groups, as well as solos, duets and trios. These are offered at the teachers discretion, and are not mandatory.
