Level 2 Team – ‘A’ Company

The Micki’s Dance Connection award winning ‘A’ Company Team allows students to take the next step in their dance training. The program requires more commitment than our ‘B’ Company program. This allows for accelerated learning and growth. This Elite team has dancers from 6 – 18 years old. This competitive program has a strong technical base, with a focus on versatility and artistry at every age and level of our program.

‘A’ Company dancers are also eligible to take their RAD Ballet exams, at the teachers discretion. The ‘A’ Company team is led by Miss Vicki Fletcher. This program offers the opportunity to excel in all areas of performance, while building confidence, self esteem, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Class Requirements

Petitie Mini & Mini: 2 Ballet, 2 Jazz, 1 Tap. (4 competitie routines-jazz, tap, ballet &Open line or production)

Pre-junior & Junior: 2 Ballet, 2 Jazz, 1 Tap. (5 competitive routines-jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical &Open line or production)

Intermediate & Senior : 2 Ballet, 2 Jazz, 1 Tap & at least 1 of the following classes: Contemporary, Acro, Hip Hop. ( 5 competitive routines)

Hip Hop, Acro & Contemporary are highly recommended for all , but are not mandatory.
To compete in Acro , you must train in 2 acro classes per week. Solos, duets & trios are at the teachers discretion and are not mandatory.
